Grilled Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
CHICKEN
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil for grilling
MARINADE
- ½ cup olive oil
- â…“ cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 3 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp Italian herbs
- ¼ tsp chili flakes
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a large bowl or freezer bag.1/2 cup olive oil, 1/3 cup red wine vinegar, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp lemon zest, 2 tbsp fresh parsley, 1 tbsp onion powder, 3 cloves garlic, 1 tsp dried basil, 1/2 tsp dried oregano, 1/2 tsp Italian herbs, 1/4 tsp chili flakes, 1 tbsp sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper
- Pierce chicken breasts with a fork a few times, and place it into the marinade.4 chicken breasts
- Marinate for 30 minutes or up to 4 hours before cooking.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Or place a cast-iron grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush it well with olive oil.2 tbsp olive oil
- Grill chicken on each side 7-8 minutes or until no longer pink in the center and chicken reaches 70°C.
- Rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
