Perfect Aromatic Roast Beef
Ingredients
- 500 g beef sirloin steak or similar lean cut for roast
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp garlic salt
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Combine the mustard, olive oil, and garlic salt in a small bowl.2 tbsp mustard, 2 tbsp garlic salt, 2 tbsp olive oil
- Take the beef, remove excess fat and make small incisions lengthwise so you can let the mixture penetrate more easily.500 g beef sirloin steak
- Brush the mustard mixture over the beef, making sure it all nicely coated.
- Place on a baking dish and arrange the rosemary leaves on the sides for extra aroma.1 sprig fresh rosemary
- Cook in a preheated oven at 180 C for 50 minutes (for medium)
- Serve with mashed sweet potatoes and/or salad
