Baked Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders
Ingredients
- 450 g chicken tenderloins
- 2 cups water warm
- 2 tbsp salt
- 8 slices bacon
- 80 g tasty cheese sliced
Instructions
- Fill a large bowl with warm water and salt. Add the chicken tenderloins (making sure the water covers them). Set aside to brine for at least 10 minutes.450 g chicken tenderloins, 2 cups water, 2 tbsp salt
- Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 230C. Line a baking tray with foil (greased lightly) or baking paper.
- Remove the chicken from the water and pat dry. Place a cheese over each piece of chicken. Wrap the two together in a slice of bacon. Place on the baking tray, with the cheese side facing up. Repeat with the remaining chicken, cheese, and bacon.8 slices bacon, 80 g tasty cheese
- Bake for about 13-16 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through. Place under the grill for a couple of minutes to crisp up the bacon.
