Cherry Oat Bars – Clean Eating
Ingredients
- ½ cup oats
- ½ cup quinoa
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp sliced almonds
- 2 tbsp dried cherries
- 2 tbsp dark chocolate chopped
- ¼ cup almond butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp pureed prunes
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Line a large baking sheet with baking paper.
- Combine oats, quinoa, chia seeds, almonds, cherries, and chocolate in a large mixing bowl.½ cup oats, ½ cup quinoa, 2 tbsp chia seeds, 2 tbsp sliced almonds, 2 tbsp dried cherries, 2 tbsp dark chocolate
- Warm almond butter, honey, coconut oil, and salt in a small saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth, stirring occasionally.¼ cup almond butter, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1/2 tsp salt
- Mix in the prune puree.2 tbsp pureed prunes
- Stir the almond butter mixture into the oat mixture.
- Form into bars with your hands, using about 1/3 cup of the mixture for each; place on prepared sheet and refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.
