Mushroom And Olive “Mediterranean” Steak
Ingredients
- 450 g beef sirloin steak boneless, ¾ inch thick, cut into 4 pieces
- 1 red onion chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms
- 4 cloves garlic thinly sliced
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup olives coarsely chopped
- 1 cup fresh parsley finely cut
Instructions
- Take a large sized skillet and place it over medium high heat
- Add oil and let it heat4 tbsp olive oil
- Add beef and cook until both sides are browned, remove beef and drain fat450 g beef sirloin steak
- Add rest of the oil to skillet and heat I up
- Add onions, garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes1 red onion, 4 cloves garlic
- Stir well
- Add mushrooms olives and cook until mushrooms are thoroughly done1 cup mushrooms, ½ cup olives
- Return beef to skillet and lower heat to medium
- Cook for 3-4 minutes (covered)
- Stir in parsley1 cup fresh parsley
- Serve and enjoy!
