Mushrooms on Toast
Ingredients
- 120 g brown button mushrooms
- 1 green apple
- 1 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
- 2 slice wholegrain bread toasted
- 1 tsp olive oil
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- In a medium-sized saucepan, heat the oil.1 tsp olive oil
- Roughly chop the mushrooms and add them to the pan, stirring occasionally.120 g brown button mushrooms
- Peel and core the apple, then finely grate it and toss it with the mushrooms.1 green apple
- Continue to stir until the mushrooms have softened.
- Garlic, sliced, chopped, or mashed, should be added to the mix.1 cloves garlic
- Stir for a minute before adding the soy sauce, then reduce the heat and continue to stir.2 tbsp soy sauce
- Meanwhile, toast the bread.2 slice wholegrain bread
- Remove from the heat and stir in the parsley and pepper.2 tbsp fresh parsley, 1/2 tsp pepper
- Place the mushroom mixture between two slices to toast
- Serve and enjoy!
